Review:

This story continues the adventures of Jacks and his fight against the Glaring. Farzan and Belle wait at home while Jacks goes to Barbados to retrieve some important items. While he is there he comes across some other werecats and must decide if they are friend or foe and how to avoid those who are hunting him.

Jacks must fight through the turmoil and emotions that fill his travels. It was interesting to see how he deals with everything. As he comes to terms with his discoveries Jacks learns where his heart belongs and what he must do. There are many characters in this book and it would have been nice to see a bit more depth to the secondary characters. Maarten and Annika are intriguing characters as are their entourage. I would have enjoyed more character building to understand why they do some of the things that they do.

While this storyline is appealing I was not pulled into this book. I did not feel immersed in their story and felt that it was a dry read for me.
